We took our 8 elementalists into Tombs with
1 earth tank
1 el/ne with Well of Power and Well of Blood
5 with searing + meteor shower
1 elmo healer
We had a bad aggro and wipe on the first try but then we cleared the first 3 levels. Upon entering the 4th level we spawned right on top of the monsters and were thus wiped. What was up with that, none of us had ever had that happen before, is that new with the update? Has that happened to anyone else?

Has anyone hero/henched this place? I can probably get an orders necro, MM, and B/P ranger hero to go along with me (Monk or Ele), but I'm wondering if the henchies there are worth anything... Thanks in advance!

Trying to remember where I saw it...but seem to remember someone beating Tombs with
- BP Ranger (the player)
- 2 BP ranger heroes
- MM hero
- 2 Henchie healers
- 2 Henchie elementalists
I thought I saved that but can't find it.

That's indeed the team build that was used, DeanBB.
There was a posting on guru not so long ago.
If I recall correctly, it took a while, but they finished.

It is possible...
to 3-man ToPK. We had one bonder (Life Barrier), 1 SS and 1 Tank (W/Me). The hardest part was keeping Barrier up with all the stripping.
Then of course we ran into the spawn point on level 4 over the weekend and that ended our run in nothing flat.

lately when ive been bored ive been doing tombs with the heros/henchmen but i use the balanced group and yes i dont get many greeens but i have plus a couple of ectos. seriously i need more friends to be on.

Heroes charm pets just the same way a player does. Just be sure to send the rest of the heroes/henchies far away so they don't kill it when it turns hostile.

That is the build (I also read it here somewhere) I have used it several times to complete tombs - takes approx 75 minutes. Most time consuming part is running around picking up all the gold by yourself! Only thing you have to watch out for is not having your team flagged under a meteor shower! If you engage groups on your terms ie when you are ready (fix targets, flag heros etc), it is amazingly easy! Last run I got Victo's battle axe and an ecto!

Well we did it, beat Tombs with just elementalists. Six actually. It took a couple of hours and a handfull of green candy canes but it was fun and challenging.

I like this thread and would like to ask a question.What about making your warrior into W/R use the same skills as a ranger - the rebirth.Do you think you would be welcome in to a group.I have a ranger and I have use him to go through Tomes I just like to be able to take my warrior.Thxs Goast

If you want to try W/R b/p, most people still won't take you because you simply don't have the energy for the constant barrage spam. Also, since the pets are (or at least should be) blocking all of the melee dmg, most of the ranged dmg in tombs is elemental...which means a ranger would have the same amount, if not more, armor than you.
To sum it up, you (as a warrior) don't have your armor advantage, do less dmg than a regular ranger due to less marksmanship, have serious energy issues, and would be a hassle to the monk if any grasps somehow manage to get through because they cause a condition every time they hit you.
So yeah, not a great idea. From the rest of the thread, W/Me is still the best way to go in tombs.
